Hi! I’m Tova!
I’m a Director and Producer based in Chicago. I was born and raised here and received my BA in Theatre from Northwestern University.
My work has premiered at such theaters as the National Theatre (DC), Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 59E59 Theaters, The Secret Theater, Victory Gardens, Jewel Box Theater, Walkerspace at Soho Rep among others.
I am proudly the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Refracted Theatre Company, a nonprofit organization based in Chicago. Refracted’s mission is to disrupt socially accepted narratives by telling the other side of a story. My love for Directing and Producing theatre is rooted in a passionate pursuit of empathy and communication.
